Lead Pastor - Shan Towns
I was born in Jackson, Mississippi but spent most of my childhood in North Carolina. In 1991 I married my best friend, Deanna. That was by far the best decision I have ever made outside of my decision to become a Christ-follower. After graduating from Toccoa Falls College in 1993, I spent 8 years pastoring churches in Maryland and Georgia. It was during those years that God blessed us with 4 wonderful kids. Following that, we spent 7 years living in Moscow, Russia, helping the post-moderns of that culture connect with God. I have a passion for helping people encounter Christ in every part of life. It is my hope that here at Valleyview Alliance people can truly encounter grace in the person of Jesus Christ. We would love to have you visit.
Pastor Arnie graduated from Nyack College in May 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Youth Ministry. Currently Pastor Arnie is serving on the Northeastern District committee of Disciplemaking Ministries and is the Youth Point Person responsible for district youth ministry communication and events. He also participates in the prayer group Greater Binghamton Prays. Arnie's wife Melody grew up in Johnson City where her Dad is a pastor. Melody graduated from Nyack College in May 2007 with a B.A. in Psychology. Arnie and Melody were married July 7th, 2007 and have a daughter, Shiloh who is currently 6 years old and son named Boden who is 3 years old.
Cheryl has been office manager at Valleyview since May 1997. She and her husband Gary have lived in the Endicott area since 1993. They have three grown children and two grandchildren.
