This training will be important for those with an interest in ministering to a Muslim International student (there are a large number of Muslim Turkish students at BU), whether as a Friendship Family, conversational partner, or through having an M28 Bible study with a Muslim student. The training will include a brief history of Islam, Overview of the Muslim world, Overview of Muslim practices and beliefs, Practical tips for ministering to Muslims including cultural considerations, and four common apologetics issues to be aware of in working with Muslims. There will also be an inspiring testimony (via DVD) of a Muslim coming to Christ. The training is free, but there will be optional materials and books available for sale.
